• It's more like Cyber Week. Many retailers offer one-day-only discounts, but others may continue to advertise sales for the rest of the week. Cyber Monday sales aren't usually advertised ahead of time, so visit retailers that day to see what's available. Or you can subscribe to their email list ahead of time to stay up to date.
• Deals go fast. When a deal is good, it's gone fast. You'll likely see a lot of lightning deals or flash sales, so go with your gut and buy quick if it's worth it. Don't wait until later in the day to shop — do it early!
• Prices on apparel drop. Clothing retailers like to offer blanket discounts on inventory, and the savings are GOOD. It's common to see 50% off from big-name stores like GAP and Banana Republic.
• And that goes for everything else. Discounts will greatly vary across product categories, but you'll see savings on plenty of things. If you missed a sale on Black Friday, now is your chance to make up for it.

Yes, Cyber Monday falls on a work day, but that hasn't let anyone stop them from shopping until their credit cards catch fire. Last year, Cyber Monday was the biggest day in the history of online shopping in the U.S. with sales reaching $3.45 billion in a single day.   Clothing sales dominate the holiday. Even high-end brands, such as Michael Kors and Coach, offer big discounts. Go to online news outlets, such as Refinery29, Glamour or InStyle, for a roundup of fashion discounts.

• Schuhe

  Need new boots for the season? Look for retailers, like 6PM, that focus on footwear for a wide variety of styles on sale.

• Makeup/Skincare

  If you're a beauty lover, this is the time of year your makeup bag has been waiting for. Makeup and skincare savings are sky high on Cyber Monday. Last year, Stila offered savings up to 85% off, BH Cosmetics offered up to 75%, and others offered 20-30% off storewide

  As a whole, electronics have their moment in the sun on Black Friday. However, if you missed out on Friday, Cyber Monday is still a great opportunity to catch a deal. Look for Android products, small electronic parts, headphones and the like.

Amazon has undoubtedly contributed to Cyber Monday's success. In 2017, Amazon steamrolled over Best Buy, Walmart, Nordstrom and Macy's to make up about 36% of overall online sales.
