Borderlinx is run by a team of highly experienced logistics, finance and eCommerce professionals:

Hans Wackwitz, Co-Chairman

Hans Wackwitz worked in international banking for 23 years at Bankers Trust and Paribas, with the last ten devoted to private equity and venture capital. In 2003 he founded Partners in Equity, a private investment firm which concentrates on education, environment and technologies. Whilst at Paribas he was instrumental in building a number of companies including Bibit and Versatel.


Jose Zurstrassen, Co-Chairman and Administrateur Délégué


José is an internet entrepreneur who began writing code at the age of 11 and sold his first software at 13. His first major success came with founding Skynet, Belgium's leading Internet Service Provider, which was subsequently sold to Belgacom. He then founded Keytrade, Belgium's leading Online Broker. Keytrade went public in 1999 and became a bank in 2002, finally being purchased by Credit Agricole in 2006.


Neill O'Sullivan, Founder and COO


Neill's career with DHL has covered senior roles in the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, and latterly in the UK, where he was MD, Home Delivery. Neill has over 10 years experience as a Managing Director and Regional Director.


David Spottiswood, Founder and CEO


David has more than 24 years experience of general management in Global logistics organisations latterly as Director of Global Operations, a board level position with DHL. David has also held MD roles in Denmark and the Netherlands as well as senior sales positions with TNT in the UK and Dubai.


Martin Carfrae, Founder


Martin has spent 20 years working with IT for both end-user and vendor organisations. He founded Clarity Payment Systems Inc., an online prepaid card business in the US; Vnetrix Ltd a remote IT service management business, and Foldermail Ltd, a provider of software for large secure file distribution.


Cédric Rainotte, Head of Communication & Marketing


Cedric has specialised in the Internet throughout his career. His early career was with one of the first digital agencies in Belgium which was sold to Belgacom, where Cedric became Creative Communication Manager in its digital department (now Lbi). Cédric founded the email and marketing agency, Barnes & Richardson, which was acquired by the Emailvision Group, where he became Chief Creative Officer (CCO). He later became Executive Creative Director for the Vanksen Group.
